Association for Psychological Science

2008 Call for Submissions

Submissions are now being accepted for the Association for Psychological Science’s Annual Convention--the leading conference dedicated solely to scientific research and exchange across all areas of psychology.

The 20th Annual Convention will be held May 22 - 25, 2008, in Chicago, IL. The 2008 Call for Submissions invites proposals to present symposia and posters online through January 31, 2008. Program highlights can be found on our Web site at www.psychologicalscience.org/convention, and will be updated regularly as the convention approaches.

There are also opportunities to present posters for the APS-STP Teaching Institute and posters relating to three themed programs: Learning, Competitiveness, and Real-World Achievement, Genetics, Environment, Culture and Behavior, and Brain, Body, Behavior, and Health.

APS welcomes and encourages you to take part in our three themed programs; specifically, Brain, Body, Behavior and Health, which uniquely applies to your organization. Leading researchers will discuss evidence from studies including animals and humans, the connection between maternal behavior and neurobiology in offspring, maternal stress and fetal immune system functioning, regions of the brain and social and emotional functioning, and physiological processes of health.
