EBBS 40^th Anniversary Awards

To mark our 40^th birthday, EBBS invites self-nominations from early career* neuroscientists to receive an “EBBS 40^th Anniversary Award”.

Up to ten awards – in the amount of 500 Euros – will be made in two categories: pre and post-doctoral. Awardees will be those applicants who, in the judgement of the awards panel, have provided evidence of potential to make an outstanding contribution to understanding brain and behaviour.

Applications, comprising a one-page resumé - including details of conference participation, invited talks, publications and so forth -

and a covering letter with a 250-word statement of contribution) should be submitted by email both to

The awardees are invited to join the Anniversary banquet, where the awards will be presented in Geneva on July 15^th.

*’Early career’ is taken to mean no more than 10 years post-doctoral, although the awards committee will take into account any career-breaks.
